Mandie’s Journey
Mandie Morgan is the founder of Just 30, a movement dedicated to inspiring at-risk youth to recognize their worth and potential. Her journey has been one of resilience—facing challenge after challenge, yet refusing to give up. As a strong Black lesbian woman, she embraces her identity and her story, using both to empower others.
Growing up in the Chicagoland area, Morgan battled teenage trauma, addiction, and self-worth struggles, making choices that could have cost her everything. But in a pivotal moment, she realized that choosing to live was the most powerful decision she could make.
“When life got hard, I almost quit. I looked in the mirror, ready to give up—but that was the day I made my first decision to live for me.”
Now, Morgan is a senior-level analyst at a Fortune 50 company, holding a degree in Information Systems and Accounting from Millikin University. But beyond her professional success, her mission is to pay it forward. Through Just 30, she speaks to at-risk youth, sharing her journey to show them that no matter where they come from or what they’ve been through, their future is still theirs to shape.
